At the Philips lighting engineering workshop facility, the nature of the specialist equipment meant a specialist resin floor compound was required. The flooring solution needed to be durable enough to create a practical finish but also have anti-static properties so that it did not interfere and disrupt surrounding machinery.

Epigard SL Anti-Static resin flooring was selected for this project to meet the specific requirements. This specially formulated self-levelling static dissipative resin floor screed resists the build-up of static charge in accordance with the industry standard BS EN 1081:1998. The smooth, gloss finish is laid between 2-3mm thick depending on the requirements within a given area, providing a flawless, durable finish that is easy to maintain.
