Efficiency and safety underfoot in public places is a high priority when it comes to deciding a new floor. With high volumes of pedestrian traffic moving through transport terminals on a daily basis it is imperative that the flooring is durable.

John Lord has taken their exclusive Acrigard QB resin flooring and designed an elegant and decorative flooring system for the refurbishment of a bus station terminal. Acrigard resin flooring has a number of advantages over other flooring choices primarily because they are incredibly fast curing meaning next to no downtime.

In the quiet off-peak periods, John Lord set to work installing their exclusive resin flooring system ready for the busy peak periods. Acrigard QB is an acrylic resin floor system which is a self-levelling floor screed using a flexible binder and a special aggregate mix to create a level finish.

For this transport terminal, a two colour tone was chosen along with a design that would help the flow of pedestrian traffic through the building and efficiently towards the exits or the transport departure doors. Along with the practicality of the flowing lines, they also increase the aesthetics of building with flowing curved lines and coloured quartz aggregates catching the light through the large windows.

The Acrigard flooring range is available to any commercial or industrial environment enhancing its looks with coloured quartz, flakes or glitter and even a combination of three creating a completely bespoke design.
