After an initial site survey, the John Lord team will design your ideal flooring system; taking into consideration the fabric of the building, the operating conditions, and your specific requirements.
With trained chemists and onsite laboratory testing facilities, we carry out continuous testing of our flooring systems to ensure optimum performance characteristics including slip, impact and chemical resistance tests.
Exhaustive taint testing is also carried out on some John Lord products so they can be installed in taint sensitive environments e.g. dairy and meat processing.
Our design team will use the detailed site surveys – which can include taking core samples – to establish sub-structure floor build up, and laser level surveys to determine the floor surface tolerances.
They can then calculate the specific floor falls needed using the latest 3D drawing software and offer the appropriate flooring solution for your environment. Furthermore, any drainage or wall kerbing specified can be simulated in the design software to visualize exactly how the installation will happen and how the finished floor will look.
Our design team work closely with our contracting team, providing support from the initial flooring design through to the completion of the project, ensuring that your floor is installed and completed to the highest standards.
