John Lord achieves SafeContractor sustainability verification

John Lord is pleased to announce that we have gained sustainability verification as part of our SafeContractor accreditation with Alcumus.

This sustainability verification is an extension of the SafeContractor health and safety audit and demonstrates our commitment to best practice for quality, safety and sustainability. This gives our customers even more confidence that we are providing our workforce with a safe working environment while delivering projects to the usual high John Lord standards.

This new accreditation is one of many steps we’ve taken in recent years in our commitment to become a more sustainable company. We’ve already replaced our staff cars with electric vehicles, we manufacture all of our resin in house to reduce the carbon footprint of material manufacture, and our packaging is all made from recycled materials.

In addition to Alcumus SafeContractor, John Lord also holds a wide range of professional certifications and memberships, including Altius, UKAS, ConstructionLine, UKCA, and EHEDG.
