There are over 50 people in the whole John Lord Team; from receptionist to project management each one has a vital role to play in the success of John Lord. However, one of the technical sales team is normally the first point of contact a client has with John Lord.

The technical sales team comprises of:
Mark Hadfield, Director
Mark has been with John Lord Over 15 years. After progressing through various roles within the business he is now responsible for all departments, taking a commercial and strategic role and directing the company towards achievement of its business plan and objectives.
Jim Lomax, Business Development Manager
Originally qualified as a Chemical Engineer, Jim has over 45 years’ experience in the flooring industry and has been with John Lord for over 28 years. Jim is usually the first point of contact for customers with new projects and for new enquiries; he offers advice and shares his wealth of knowledge and experience to recommend the most suitable specialist flooring and drainage solutions.
Dave Sleight, Technical Engineer
for West Midlands, Cheshire, West of England, South & Southwest England, North & South Wales.
Working for John L Lord in the industrial flooring industry for over 32 years Dave Sleight is supporting our customers with his industry knowledge and installation experience. With more than 28 years customer experience, Dave has particular regard to cost effectiveness and health and safety of each project when it comes to choosing the right floor specification and installation methods. His expertise on resin floor and drainage installations on may large construction projects proves a valuable asset to his customers when it comes to their flooring requirements.
James Airey, Technical Sales Manager
For Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Humberside & East of England
After three years as the Estimator at John Lord specialist flooring, James understanding of the John Lord estimating process and knowledge of products and installation methods proves very useful when talking to clients about their resin flooring project requirements. His expertise provides customers with cost effective solutions when choosing the right floor specification and installation methods required to meet with the demands of their working environment.
Tom Ingham, Technical Sales Engineer
for Lancashire, Cumbria, North East of England & Scotland.
Graduating from Edge Hill University and after a successful 5 years working as Technical Sales Engineer for John L Lord specialist flooring to the North west of England and throughout Scotland, Tom has gained valuable experience in the installation of bespoke resin flooring systems for many different sectors. Working closely with his clients on many large factory projects, Tom’s insight into the flooring industry has proven valuable and has led him to create a large portfolio of new and existing customers seeking his expertise on various commercial and industrial projects.
Matthew Davies, Technical Sales Engineer
for East Midlands, London, South & South East England.
With over 10 years’ experience working in the construction industry, Matthew’s back ground and experience is helping our customers in choosing the right floor specification and installation methods to meet the demands of their various working environments. His knowledge on our resin flooring and stainless drainage systems proves invaluable to new and existing customers who are looking for a complete floor and drainage system.
Mark Hunter, Technical Sales Engineer
for Ireland & John L Lord Commercial Manager.
Mark has been with John Lord for over 10 years. After progressing through various contracts roles within the business his knowledge has built a portfolio of clients across both Northern and Southern Ireland who have grown to trust his ability to deliver quality flooring projects using his expertise within the industrial flooring sector. As well as his Sales role he is also responsible for the commercial aspects of the business helping towards achievement of its business plan and objectives.
