John Lord has been involved in a large number of projects for fresh produce manufacturers, environments that demand hygienic and safe working conditions. Natures Way Foods, create prepared products for retailers and food service companies meaning it is vital that a hygienic environment is prioritised. John Lord resin floors provide an ideal base for a hygienic and low maintenance surface.

John Lord created a bespoke specification flooring system in their facility based in Lancashire based on Uragard HT anti-slip resin.  A high level of slip resistance and a heavy-duty performance ensured the safety of staff even in the most extreme working conditions.  John Lord offers a completely bespoke service meaning that in this case the resin colour was matched to the existing flooring combinations.

The flooring system incorporated a range of Aspen stainless steel products, including Aspen Colorado 170 Drainage Channels and 3Bar Drain Covers, accompanied by the Banff Drain Outlets for an increased drainage capacity. To build the rooms Aspen used their stainless steel KC Kerbing range, which was adapted in the UK manufacturing workshop with the floor fall in mind.

Once Aspen had installed the Kerbing, the John Lord team installed the fast curing resin flooring to the specified floor plans, incorporating the gradual fall directed towards the seamless drainage channels.
