Full Office Fit-Out for JPL Flavours
The commercial flooring team at John Lord recently undertook and successfully completed a 1000m² full office fit-out for a leading UK-based flavour manufacturer, JPL Flavours.
Project Background
Due to an increased demand for their products, JPL flavours are investing in a brand new state-of-the-art £6 million manufacturing and innovations facility in Bromborough, on the Wirral. This new facility is set to enhance their production capabilities and support their growth ambitions.
Solution
Over the course of 4 weeks, the John Lord team installed a variety of high-quality flooring materials, including Karndean Van Gogh tiles, Interface carpet tiles (Composure and Human Nature collections), and Altro walkway vinyl. These materials were chosen for their durability, aesthetic appeal, and suitability for different areas within the facility.
Areas Covered
- Offices: The office areas were fitted with 800m² of carpet tiles, chosen for comfort and design. This not only provided a professional look but also ensured ease of maintenance, crucial for an office environment. Using carpet also meant that corporate branding colours could be incorporated into the design.
- Entrance Foyers: For the entrance foyers, 100m² of Karndean flooring was used, known for its robustness and stylish appearance. This choice not only provided a professional look but also ensured ease of maintenance, crucial for a high-traffic environment.
- Toilets: The toilet areas were fitted with 100m² of vinyl flooring, chosen for its water-resistant properties and hygienic benefits.
