John Lord completed work on the new Marshfield Bakery production facility in Wiltshire. The large, state-of-the-art site was designed to meet the increasing demand for the company’s hand-made cakes and snack bars.
As with any food processing facility, it is crucial to provide a hygienic and safe environment. John Lord was approached to formulate, manufacture and install a seamless, anti-slip resin flooring solution as well as to fabricate and install a network of bespoke stainless steel gullies. Grey John Lord Uragard HT120W polyurethane resin system was chosen to deliver a durable, anti-slip finish while incorporating chemical resistant and thermal-shock resistant properties. The seamless Uragard HT120W resin floor system creates a wall to wall surface which is both easy to keep clean and maintain and also incredibly safe, thanks to the anti-slip characteristics.
“Since the successful installation, Marshfield Bakery achieved Gold Level Accreditation to the CMi Due Diligence Standard; a testament to the bakery’s achievement of high food safety standards. Our Grade A BRC Global Standard also ensures we deliver products made to the stringent quality standards required by today’s markets.”
