One of the great things about working in the Food Industry is that as well as working for the very large companies, we also get to work for many small companies with a great tradition and quality name, very much like John Lord.

This takes us all over the country to companies who make cooked meats; cheese; smoked salmon; traditional pastries; preserves etc.

One such company based in our hometown of Bury are the “famous” Bury Black Pudding Company.

Using our exclusive Uragard Resin Flooring and Aspen stainless steel drainage, we completed a full installation in their preparation and processing rooms within the factory.

Throughout the finished goods chills, packing areas and loading areas, the use of our polyurethane resin flooring provides a long term, durable and seamless finish, which is ideal for hygienic environments.

In all areas, floors were laid to falls towards the central drainage using a specialist co-polymer modified concrete and semi-dry screeds. This now benefits Bury Black Pudding in minimising cleaning times by having self-draining floors.

We wish Bury Black Pudding the very best of luck with their expansion and we are certain their commitment to quality will be their “recipe” to success.
