Resin flooring for leading food manufacturer
A leading manufacturer and supplier of premium prepared meals in the UK needed to expand their production facilities to support an increase in demand for their products. After appointing a main contractor, John Lord was engaged to install the flooring for the project, based on a previous working relationship.
The project was completed over the Christmas period in just over 7 weeks and was a complete fit-out of an existing unit which was being converted to food production facilities.
After a consultation on design and specification, the John Lord resin team carried out the manufacture and installation of just under 2000m² of HT62 throughout manufacturing and freezer areas.
Resin flooring is ideal for this type of environment due to its high degree of durability, chemical resistance, and anti-slip properties. Installed as a seamless floor means there are no joints, creases, or crevasses, which can be damaged and come under attack by unwanted bacteria.
