Celebrating Success: John Lord Flooring Apprentices receive distinctions in their Floorlayer Level 2 Standard Apprenticeship.

Congratulations to two of our commercial flooring apprentices, Hayden Sidlow and Ulysses Rusby who have successfully completed their Floorlayer Level 2 Standard Apprenticeship with Construction and Plant Assessments.

The course is completed over 18- 24 months in blocks of 10 which allows apprentices to learn vocational skills, developing these skills in the workplace and earning a wage.

John Edwards, Commercial Manager at John Lord said, “Our flooring apprentices have exceeded our expectations while gaining their NVQ level 2 in Floor Covering. Our professional and expert in-house installation team are what sets John Lord apart from our competitors, and our apprentices are always trained to the highest standard. We are looking forward to watching Hayden and Ulysses continue to develop their skills and expertise when working alongside the rest of our team.

Commenting on the apprenticeship, Ulysses said, “Completing the apprenticeship at John Lord Flooring has been an invaluable learning journey. We’ve been given real responsibilities and trusted with significant projects, which has allowed us to grow both professionally and personally.”

Hayden echoed the sentiment, adding, “The support and encouragement we’ve received from the rest of the team has been a huge help. They believed in us and pushed us to achieve our best potential.”
