Flooring for a brand-new laboratory testing facility
A brand new, state of the art medical testing facility was being built in Manchester. John Lord was chosen to install high-performance flooring for the facility, working to an extremely tight timescale.
The site will process and provide results for medical tests for employees of a major global corporation and is currently one of only two in the world.
The flooring system throughout the facility needed to be hygienic, hard-wearing, and installed quickly. To complete the project, John Lord installed a total of 1800m2 of high-performance Altro vinyl flooring systems throughout the new laboratory facilities with site formed vinyl skirting and 300m2 of Interface carpet tiles in the meeting rooms.
An early access certificate was granted to the client enabling them to start commissioning the site for operations. Accelerated working by the John Lord team, working around the clock, allowed the team to complete the project in record time and hand the project over, snag-free on day 12.
