The British wine industry is currently enjoying a great deal of success, something which Simon Robinson from Hattingley Valley Winery is basking in. Recently John Lord installed our Uragard HT62W product extensively throughout the production areas in this Hampshire winery.

Uragard is a range of robust polyurethane resin flooring systems we produce for very demanding environments. The product areas within the winery house a great deal of modern machinery and can at times be exposed to harsh chemicals during cleaning. These factors lead us to recommend the product for the area, together with the tested anti-slip properties that this particular system provides.

An Aspen stainless steel drainage system was also installed completing this comprehensive and durable package. Aspen Colorado drainage channels and drain covers provided a seamless surface and were edged with Uragard WR Cover Grade and Aspen BB edging. The fast curing properties of the floor meant that the whole process caused minimal disruption to the winery ensuring that the UK and the rest of the world can enjoy the fruits of their labour.

The Winery has since featured on the BBC One programme, Countryfile in which presenter Ellie Harrison discussed farm diversification and the art of wine making.

John Lord was working on-site for Main Contractor Agincourt Contractors Limited, working with their Project Manager, Simon Crew.

“As a sub-contractor, we supplied and installed the resin floors at the Wield Industries’ Hattingley Valley Winery. The team from Agincourt were very professional to work with and together we completed a top quality job, on schedule, we look forward to working with them again.”
